Swedish Massage
The main goal of Swedish massage is to increase the oxygen flow in the blood and release toxins such lactic acid from the muscles. Swedish Massage uses a variety of techniques specially designed to relax muscles by applying pressure to them and massaging in the same direction as the flow of blood returning to the heart.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage is focused on addressing the deeper tissue structures of the muscles and fascia also called connective tissue.
Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger points are described as hyperirritable spots in a taut band of skeletal muscle. When these spots or "knots" form in shoulders for instance a person can get pain in the neck and head.
